Choosing your Wedding hairstyle can sometimes be a challenge, you are left wondering “What will it look like on me”  and you do want it to be extra special!  You are also trying to imagine what it will all look like together, that is your dress, Veil, or should you have a fascinator!  I know how confusing!!  Well don’t worry as when we meet you at your pre Wedding trial we make sure we have plenty of time to help you create that special look as we allow double the time to that of your Wedding day and of course the same stylist that you meet on your trial day is the same that spoils you on the Wedding day.

Just wanted to share with you all a sneak peak at one of our new Bridal collection images photographed a few weeks ago. Powder Stylists have created 8 new looks to be launched in the December edition of  Brisbane Bride Magazine out in December! We all love a red head, Katie’s hair is naturally curly and is softly pinned of the face with one section. The Wedding updo, flows softly to one side, using a hair padding to create the gorgeous shape.

You know sometimes you have days where you meet someone and you just think Wow!! what an amazing lady and so inspiring.

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting a lovely lady by the name of Christine McRae a few weeks ago, introduced to us through FourZeroZeroFive Fotografie, and amazing stylist Tanya Mrnjaus, from ID Couture.

I want to express my sincere thanks to your team Sarah and Jody the vivacious and talented hair dresser who worked on my hair on Wednesday to make me look glamorous for my photoshoot.   The preparation for the  shoot was “seamless” and I so appreciated that. When I got back to work there was no keeping it a secret as to what I had been up to!  As soon as I got back to my work everyone noticed the glamorous look your team had created.   Some of the comments were:

I want to especially thank Sarah for her skilfulness and sensitivity in creating the look she did.  I have had my face made-up twice before for special occasions and I never came out looking like the look Sarah created.  I was thrilled and impressed with her quiet, professional touch.  I felt like a film star by the time my make-up and hair had been done and it really helped me to feel relaxed and confident for the photo-shoot. I also appreciated the attention I received through-out the shoot, touching up my make-up, changing my hair style etc.   It was a fabulous experience and I felt very respected and valued by your team.
